Delete Browsing History In Google Chrome (On Mobile/Tablet)

  1. Open your Google browser.
  2. Click on the 3 small circles on the top right of the browser to access the menu.
  3. Once the menu appears scroll down until you see the ‘History’ option. Select it.
  4. This will show you all your recent history.
  5. At this point you could choose to delete individual entries of history. To do this simply press the ‘BIN’ icon next to the list of pages you have visited.
  6. However, if you would like to remove all or at least the last hour of your history, then procced with the instructions below.
  7. At the top of the list you will see a button that says ‘CLEAR BROWSING HISTORY’.
  8. Click on it to go to a menu where you can select just how much browsing history you want to delete.
  9. Select from a time period from the options,
    • past hour
    • past day
    • past week
    • last 4 weeks
    • beginning of time
  10. Next decide which element of your history you would like to delete. Select from
    • Browsing History
    • Cookies and site data
    • Cached images and files
    • Saved Passwords
    • Auto fill from data
  11. When you have selected the ones you want to delete, press the ‘CLEAR DATA’ button.
  12. And you are done.

To Delete Browsing History In Google Chrome(Desktop/Laptop)

  1. Double left-click the Google Chrome icon to launch it.
  2. Select the Settings button in the top-right corner of the browser window.
  3. Select History then click the “Clear all browsing data” button.
  4. Shortcut to open “Clear all browsing data” window (Windows users) = Ctrl, Shift and Delete
  5. Shortcut to open “Clear all browsing data” window (Mac users) = Cmd, Shift and Delete
  6. Select from when you want to delete the history e.g. the past hour, the past week.
  7. Select the options with data you want to delete e.g. Clear browsing history, Clear saved passwords
  8. Click on the “Clear all browsing data” button at the bottom of the window.

To Delete Browsing History In Mozilla Firefox

  1. Double left-click the Mozilla Firefox icon to launch it.
  2. Select History in the Menu bar
  3. Select Clear Recent History button
  4. Select from when you want to delete the history e.g. Last Hour, Last Week.
  5. Select the options with data you want to delete e.g. Cookies, Offline Website Data
  6. Click the “Clear Now” button

To Delete Browsing History In Internet Explorer

  1. Double left-click the Internet Explorer icon to launch it.
  2. Select the Tools option in the Menu bar
  3. Select Safety
  4. Select Delete browsing history
  5. Select the options with data you want to delete e.g. Passwords, Downloading history
  6. Select Preserve Favorites Website Data to keep your list of favorite pages
  7. Select Delete

To Delete Browsing History In Safari Browser

  1. Double left-click the Safari icon to launch it
  2. Select History in the Manu bar
  3. Select Clear History
  4. Check the box “Also reset Top Sites” if you would want to reset all the saved top sites.
  5. Select “Clear” to delete all browsing history
